5.0 Peter and Jack’s Rabbit-Hole Adventures

Peter and Jack’s Rabbit-Hole Adventures

There are a lot of career Rabbit-Holes in your neighborhood. How many can your 2 Sims fully explore in 12 weeks? And how many “carrots” can they acquire along the way?

General Challenge Rules
The General Challenge Rules always apply. If applicable, exceptions will be noted below.

Specific Challenge Rules

  • Create 2 Young Adult Sims.
  • You may not add to the household.
  • This challenge concludes when mail is delivered on Week 13, Day 1. (Or 8 AM if no mail is delivered)

Scoring is based on how many different career and profession rabbit-holes are explored in your neighborhood plus obtaining lots of “carrots.”

Rabbit-Holes — A rabbit-hole is fully explored when you have hit a given career cap (level 10). Your Sim must go into a rabbit-hole as part of their job to qualify for scoring, so self-employed professions like Painter, Fisherman, and Gardener do not qualify. Some buildings provide 2 different rabbit-holes and both are open to exploration — i.e. Rock Career and Symphonic Career at the Theatre; Science Career and Ghost Hunter at the Science Center, etc. However, your 2 Sims may not explore rabbit-holes that have already been fully explored (i.e. the Science career cannot be done by both Sims).

Award yourself 1000 points for any fully explored rabbit-hole.

Carrots — Your carrot score is a multiplier. Everyone starts the game with a carrot multiplier of 1.00. Carrots are the multitude of rewards you can receive in the game. Here’s what qualifies as a carrot:

• Career cap reward objects (police cruiser, special fridge, Fox trophy, etc)
• Special career cap abilities or moodlets (Stylin’ moodlet, Evil Aura, Science experiments, etc.)
• Skill Certificates (overlap is allowed — i.e. both Sims could receive a Handiness Certificate).
• Ribbons, Medals, Trophys, Keys to the City received in conjunction with your Rabbit-Hole career.

It’s recommended you do not get rid of any carrots during the course of the challenge, so you can get an accurate count at the end of the event.

Each Carrot adds 5% (.05) to your multiplier.

NOTE: Celebrity freebies are NOT carrots in this challenge.

Total — Add up the number of fully explored rabbit-holes from your 2 Sims. Then take that amount and multiply it by your carrots. I’ll walk you through an example.

Example: Week 13, Day 1, 8:00 AM arrives and your 2 Sims have fully explored 11 different rabbit-holes. Between the 2 of them they have also acquired 15 different carrots.
11 rabbit-holes = 11000 points
15 carrots X .05 = .75. Final multiplier = 1.00 + .75 = 1.75
Your Total = 11000 X 1.75 = 19250
