Bella Immortal, Week 5

I realized that there is a sprinkler in the game and Bella should have it, so the first thing this week the garden was redone.  I also remembered there is a scarecrow, so let’s see what good he does.

Bella tries to talk to him and of course he jumps out and scares her.

She isn’t impressed.

Monday is back to boring Hugo.  He spends the day napping at the table and cleaning up the water from the broken sink.  This is all he did, all day long.

Monday evening is the Humor and Hijinks festival and Bella decides to go.  She is still working on writing her books, but she also needs friends, so she invites several sims she knows and off they go.  They joins the jokesters together, because that is how I roll.

She introduces herself to everyone she can, and she tells a lot of jokes.  One thing to note… MCCC is set to allow teens and adults to become romantically involved and I don’t always look closely at the options, so Bella has the option to flirt with adults.  Now she has an romantic interest in Diego Lobo – who I initially thought was Wolfgang for some reason.  I really wasn’t looking that close at first.  We will call it a crush on an older man, and say that she is 17 almost 18.  The jokesters won, Bella got prizes, and everyone went home.  Alone.

Diego is now calling her asking her out., and yeah, okay, she still needs more boyfriends.  And he is rich, sooo… she needs to think about her future, right?  She doesn’t want to live with Hugo any longer than necessary.

Hugo has another day of pointless mopping the floor.

Oh look, Patchy is alive.  Maybe Patchy can be friends with Hugo.

Patchy takes care of the plants for Bella while she is at school.

When Bella gets home from school, they all socialize for awhile and then Patchy heads back out to the garden.

Bella is slowly knocking out the books and she is also making progress on the boyfriends. After getting a slow start with the boys, Bella hit the booster and zoomed right to the finish line.  But only where boyfriends are concerned – she still doesn’t have any friends.

Since Patchy is alive, so to speak, and Bella can get all flirty with pretty much anyone, she decides Patchy will be her next boyfriend.

Patchy agrees with this plan.

Bella decides that woohoo with a scarecrow is kind of weird and she is so over that.  She just-friends Patchy and sends him back out to the garden.  She is just-friendsing them so that they don’t hate her.  She still needs Patchy to take care of the plants after all.

She is so excited because she knows she is so close to finishing.  It might not be this week, but maybe next week.  Although she hasn’t started the parties yet, all she has left is making the friends and throwing the parties.  And the books.

Hugo has moved from bored to sad – I think he might be lonely.  But at least he is cleaning up the dirty dishes.

Bella begins to clean up her love life by just-friending her boyfriends.

She is keeping Diego as a boyfriend for now.  He might be her way out of this life, her way to escape this challenge.  And he is rich, have I said that already?

The spring brings Love Day.  Bella tries to hook up Hugo with Mila Munch and while they are both kind of interested before they meet, once they are in the same house, neither one is really interested in taking that relationship any further.  I have never used that particular option so I didn’t know for sure how it worked.  It would have been interesting had it worked out for them.  They watched a movie until Hugo fell asleep at which point Mila left.

Hugo found Bella’s tablet, which has been locked in her room.  Hugo is locked out of her room so that he can’t break her computer, but he is the only sim locked out of her room and Patchy has a habit of going in there and taking the tablet into the living room and leaving it out.  I didn’t notice this time and Hugo found it and has been trolling the forums.  But he is happy and has been leveling mischief so I am going to let him play with it for now.

Bella is so close – she only needs to write one more book, make all her friends, and throw all of the parties to finish up.  I hope she can do that in one more week, but it might take two weeks with school and work interfering with her free time.

I have been playing Sims since August 2005; a member, then a moderator, and now an admin of Boolprop.net since October 2006. My sister is the one that hooked me on Sims in the beginning. She had all of the original Sims games and one week while I was on vacation I took her games and started playing. That was the beginning of my obsession. I played Sims 1 for about a month and then decided to buy Sims 2. When Sims 3 was released I made the move and have never looked back. Now I am all in on Sims 4 and still loving it.
