Dark Perfection, Chapter 3

It is Lorcan’s birthday and Alexander is hoping he can get the birthday cake baked before Lorcan grows up.  Lorcan is tickled that he is getting a cake.

Layla helps Lorcan blow out his candles.

And we have a child in the house.

Who apparently likes to play with Layla’s makeup.

Timing is important.  Lorcan doesn’t have time to clean it off before school.

All service sims play double duty at the Danto house.  Layla partakes of the maid…

…and Alexander enjoys the nanny.

Lorcan decides he wants to become a musician.

Tambra is one of the fastest toddlers to skill, reaching level 3 across the board with two days to spare.

She loves hugs from her daddy.

She also loves to make messes.

“Who me?  I am too sweet to make messes.”

Alexander is struggling as a vampire.  He raids the plasma fruit tree behind the house.  It takes all ten fruit to satiate his hunger.

Sad Alexander.

Layla takes up yoga to combat her eternal sadness.  It really doesn’t work that well.

With time to kill, it is time for Tambra to go on a walkabout.

For a dark location, Forgotten Hollow is really kind of pretty.

Tambra, what you are doing out at the overlook?

Time to go home.  Tambra calls for the nanny, and then waits for him to get there.  Then she takes off running back to the house leaving the nanny behind.

Run, baby, run!

“I … gotta … POTTY!!!!!!!”

Straight into the house, and to the closest potty chair…

But not in time.  (I hate when that happens)

She runs to Layla for help changing her diaper.  That is one stinky diaper!

Layla and Alexander have not spent much time together.  So they have a romantic soak in the hot tub.

Deciding to get out of the house, they pack up the family and head into town.  Alexander is starving once again and close to losing control and rampaging the town.  To control his hunger, he finds a solo singer in a private room and has dinner.

While he is doing that, Lorcan practices with the basketball.

Tambra settles onto a bench and looks at the pretty pictures in the book she had in her pocket.

Well, she has to potty and not wanting a repeat of the last time, she calls for her mom.

Layla poofs over, picks her up, and takes her home.

Leaving Alexander alone at the karaoke bar checking at the redhead singing.

Alexander introduces himself to the pretty lady and they head out to the park

They hit it off quickly.

Really quickly.  There is a telescope nearby for privacy.

Alexander has decided what he wants.  He goes home and finds Layla out front.  They need to talk.

He tells her that he just wants to be friends.  Layla is happy as she had been feeling trapped.  (This really was her reaction – noncommittal trait kicking in)

In addition, he asks Layla to make him a special drink.  He has decided to have his vampirism cured.

Once the change is complete, he talks with Tambra and tries to explain what is happening.  She isn’t quite sure what is happening but she does understand that things are changing.  Her daddy is now different and has to leave.

Alexander realizes the cost of making the change and he spends time playing with Tambra.

While they are playing, Layla makes a birthday cake.  It is time for Tambra to grow up.  Everyone is a little sad.

With everyone knowing what is happening, Alexander heads out to meet up with Rieko.  He proposes…

She says yes…

Tambra gets ready for the wedding.

They have a small intimate wedding at the park where they fell in love.

They then go back to the apartment where Alexander and Rieko are going to be living.  Lorcan has to pee by the time they get there.

Alexander and Tambra sing a country duet.  They are both really bad.

Layla wishes Alexander and Rieko the best and she heads downstairs.

Lorcan has gone downstairs with Layla leaving Tambra a snuggle time with Alexander.

Apparently there is a love festival downstairs.

Layla may have been itching to get out of the relationship, but Alexander found someone so quickly that it smarts, just a little.  And then to walk into a love festival is just too much.

Layla finishes her drink and heads home.

I have been playing Sims since August 2005; a member, then a moderator, and now an admin of Boolprop.net since October 2006. My sister is the one that hooked me on Sims in the beginning. She had all of the original Sims games and one week while I was on vacation I took her games and started playing. That was the beginning of my obsession. I played Sims 1 for about a month and then decided to buy Sims 2. When Sims 3 was released I made the move and have never looked back. Now I am all in on Sims 4 and still loving it.
