Drifting Along, House 016.4

There are so many animals in this household. So many animals. There is always a mess somewhere to clean up and animals that need to be cleaned. I missed someone somewhere – there are 7 animals total. The red mini-sheep didn’t make it into a picture.

Honey and Hallie spend the days playing.

Stella takes Honey for a jog. Neither one enjoyed it much. Honey gets many baths because as a white dog, she gets dirty fast.

The sheep and goat can eat from the animal feeder, and do most of the time. But sometimes, Stella will get them a bottle after cleaning the stench.

It is time for Heidi to become a teenager. She just got home from school and she is filthy and miserable, but she is going to blow out the candles.

Heidi randomly rolls Horse Lover for her second trait. She already has the Creative trait. Then she rolled Villainous Valentine, so that is not going to work out well.

Heidi begins working on her woodcrafting. She has to master handiness in order to go into her house without any limits on what she can purchase. She will get to take anything she crafts with her into the house for “free”. This is a little variation to the rules. There are old rules and new rules, so she is walking a line between the two.

It looks like Stella and Heidi ate too much of the diet ice cream. Stella eats a bowl of the weight of the world ice cream to add just a touch of weight back.

Heidi will wait to put back on weight until she has kids. Then I expect she will not have to worry about being too skinny.

So for the most part they are just doing their own things. Heidi is going to school and doing her homework and making items on the woodworking table. And scouts. She is still in scouts with two badges remaining. She needs to do outdoors things and fitness things, but that will be her focus after she masters handiness and makes all the woodworking things.

Bruno goes to work and wanders about the house. He loves the animals and gives them a lot of attention.

Hmm, someone is sick. Stella decides to buy an exam table so she can learn the vet skill and take care of the pets herself. No comment on the first Honey. Honey stays that color most of the time. After a bath, she will be white for about an hour, and then she is dirty again.

This is Hershey, I think. The Japanese botail. He had Winterfest Fever, or something.

He is quickly cured with a Fix-it-all treat. If only it were really that easy.

Oh look, Bruno is getting older. I missed his birthday so he aged up in the backyard.

Another one is sick – this is Haiku the Chihuahua. I don’t remember what he had but he had to wear a collar for a few days.

Heidi makes a quick trip to Granite Falls to learn the schematic for the large statue. Then she heads back home to make the small version. She has made a lot of progress on her woodworking. I believe she is level 7 or 8 in handiness and has made everything except the instruments, toilet, and tub.

Bruno randomly decides to play with the bonsai plant. He learns both gardening and flower arranging apparently.

Bruno and Stella cash in all their points for potions that they pass along to Heidi. The teen years are a bitch and Heidi is always miserable for fun. So she sucks down a fun potion and buys herself another day.

Heidi masters handiness which will help her out a lot in her next house.

The only items she hasn’t made on the woodworking bench are the guitar and two violins. She has to be at level 8 in both musical skills in order to unlock the ability to craft the instruments. So she is learning guitar, which she has decided she hates.

Her parents like to listen to her play because even if she hates playing, she is pretty good.

Heidi is given the chance to graduate from high school early since she has perfect grades. She accepts. More time to learn the guitar and then the violin.

She is still invited to prom but won’t walk at graduation. She is okay with that.

She remembers she also has two scouting badges to complete so she spends a couple of days jogging and the fitness badge is done.

Hmm, someone is fighting.

Ahh, for whatever reason Honey and Haiku get into a small spat. It is the one time only that I have seen them actually fighting.

Heidi makes several items on the grill and completes the outdoors badge. She is now a Llamacorn scout and promptly quits the scouts.

Another fight, this time it was Honey and Hermione.

Hermione is a talkative cat and she sings along with the music.

Heidi reaches level 8 and finally can put down the guitar, never to pick it up again. She heads out to craft a guitar to take along to the next house. With 7 animals in the household, her parents stalk her, distracting her from what she is doing. Since I still control Stella, she suggests to Bruno that they go for some afternoon delight.

With the guitar made, all that is left is the violins.

Hermione continues to sing along.

Violin is done, violins are made, Heidi has 7 days remaining until her birthday. For the most part the household will be allowed to free range for the next week. It is Winter so there are two holidays coming up before Heidi’s birthday. Thankfully she won’t be moving into her own house in the middle of winter.

All 5 pets are jockeying over who gets to sleep on the couch. The mini sheep and mini goat are curled up outside.

Timing is everything. Heidi just entered a distant phase.

As the family spends their free time waiting for Heidi’s birthday, they spend the Friday Night Out on the Town. Thankfully Bruno doesn’t celebrate so they aren’t worried about getting him to experience the tradition of free food, but Stella and Heidi have a great time.

One of the last family pictures. It is just about time for Bruno to shuffle off. He will not live long enough to see Heidi’s birthday. 🙁

Well that was actually sooner than I expected. But I wasn’t wrong.

Getting a picture of the family was difficult, but both Stella and Heidi along with both dogs and all three cats are crammed into the room.

Bruno is moved to a quiet peaceful place on the lot. It is Sunday morning and Heidi’s birthday is on Tuesday. She checks the pets and they will all survive her moving out. The dogs will probably be elders but the cats won’t age up until after she moves out. The goat and sheep will last forever most likely as I might have their aging turned off.

Zachariah is still hanging around. I believe he has to be a vampire or something.

One last pup to cure before Heidi moves out.

It is time to blow out the candles and Heidi just decided to have a rebellious phase.

She is now a young adult and ready to move out.

Of course she is sick. That should be fun.

I have been playing Sims since August 2005; a member, then a moderator, and now an admin of Boolprop.net since October 2006. My sister is the one that hooked me on Sims in the beginning. She had all of the original Sims games and one week while I was on vacation I took her games and started playing. That was the beginning of my obsession. I played Sims 1 for about a month and then decided to buy Sims 2. When Sims 3 was released I made the move and have never looked back. Now I am all in on Sims 4 and still loving it.
