Drifting Along, House 017.1

It is time for Heidi to begin her life as a young adult. To get started with this house, she gets to purchase, for free, several items from certain categories depending on what she crafted in the last house.

Heidi’s traits are Creative, Horse Lover, and Paranoid. This is going to be fun.

This will be a fairly simple house. The only goal is to build a house worth at least §60,000 with at least two bedrooms. Heidi is going to be working on the Crystal Crafter aspiration since that is one of the new ones since last I played.

So for the first time, Heidi looks at her aspiration. Collect crystals, craft jewelry, and grow a crystal tree. Oh and something about summoning the Grim Reaper.

Heidi tried to make sure that each of the items she was allowed to buy had a purpose other than decorative. She was able to get a toilet and shower tub, a banquet table, and a place to nap.

She has no idea with the Spirit House will do, but she leaves some fruit out to see and lays down for a nap. She doesn’t have enough funds to go anywhere and at the moment the neighborhood is not producing crystal and metal nodes. Hopefully tomorrow. And then I realize she doesn’t have to find the crystals first. There is an option to purchase them through the gemology table as needed.

She has §93 simoleons to her name so she spends §1 to wish for more money. She loses everything. Now, she has §0 simoleons to her name.

Stella drops by and gives her an apple as a gift. Ge, thanks, Mom.

With more collecting she has enough to make cut two gemstones. Still trying to figure out what everything means.

With her fun and social tanked it is time to see about making friends. All of the sims walking by are either alien, werewolf, or mermaid. Irvin Allison is the son of Zachariah Allison the undying. Irvin is not an occult, that I can tell. But he is evil, goofball, and self-assured. And unemployed. He is also an adult, so a little older than Heidi wants. But he is one of the few sims walking by that is not married.

Of course today is Love Day so Heidi has to move pretty fast with Irvin. He is willing to kiss.

And he is willing to woohoo.

He even agrees to become her boyfriend.

Heidi decides to propose with a crafted ring.

But Irvin rejects her proposal.

Now Heidi is very embarrassed. Great

So, she crafts a simple ring and gifts it to Irvin. That he accepts and she moves to the next tier of her aspiration.

Heidi goes for another try at the wishing well.

Green looks much better than the last time.

Yes! The wishing well provides Heidi with just over §4,000 simoleons. Heidi can leave the area.

So, she goes home to see her mom and leave a sugar skull for Bruno.

I was hoping the moodlet solvers would still be sitting out but they aren’t. She is able to open two presents from the pile and then she heads home.

The world is very old and very occult heavy. I decided to add a potential mate for Heidi to the game from the gallery. Sage is the lucky sim.

He is placed into a house in Chestnut Ridge, and since Heidi still has more than §1,000 in her account, she heads over to stalk him at his new house.

They get along excellently and are quickly good friends.

She brings him back home and begins romancing him.

This time when she proposes with her crafted ring, Sage says yes.

They have an elopement and then he moves in. Despite telling him to sell the house, he only brings §4,192 into the household funds. Oh well, they are going to be living rough for a little while longer.

Sage is Cheerful, Insider, and Dance Machine. He came with a level 9 career in eSports Gaming and a Popularity aspiration. He switched to a Fabulously Wealthy aspiration since he won’t be actively doing anything to progress his aspiration.

Then on his first shift at work, he receives a promotion to level 10,Champion Gamer. He will be supporting the family while Heidi works on her gemology and jewelry. They should also make some pretty babies.

Heidi finally collects enough common parts to upgrade the bed with massage controls. She loves the look of the bed but it has low stats so she is going to apply both upgrades as soon as possible.

They use the money from Sage’s promotion to finish up the walls of the base house. It has two bedrooms, one bathroom, and an open living and kitchen area with half walls to separate the spaces.

Sage also received a computer and a gaming platform which are great additions to the house.

Then, the best news, is that Heidi is expecting the next generation.

I have been playing Sims since August 2005; a member, then a moderator, and now an admin of Boolprop.net since October 2006. My sister is the one that hooked me on Sims in the beginning. She had all of the original Sims games and one week while I was on vacation I took her games and started playing. That was the beginning of my obsession. I played Sims 1 for about a month and then decided to buy Sims 2. When Sims 3 was released I made the move and have never looked back. Now I am all in on Sims 4 and still loving it.
