I am still on a medal hunt and of the challenges remaining that I don’t have the medal, this is one of the shorter ones. This is three generations of alien goodness. Or at least, that is the plan.
In case you are wondering, the only challenges I haven’t started yet, that offer Boolprop medals, are the Apocalypse, the Boolprop EPIC, the ISBI, and the Build a City. The challenges that I have in process that offer Boolprop medals are the Name Game, the Queen Bee, the Monster Mash, and the DyNasty of Darkness. This is my plan for 2019, lots of medals. So I am on my second challenge that is dependent on getting a male sim alien pregnant. I have been playing Sims 4 since it was released in 2014 and I have exactly no alien babies by male sims.

And here we go… I am starting with a male founder again. This is starting to become a habit. Felix immediately takes a job in the Scientist career and then heads to the library to work on his aspiration. He wants to get as much done as possible before his needs start to tank since his aspiration and his career really don’t need each other. He is also not hunting for a spouse yet, because he is hoping for an abduction or three to be in his near future. First he has to take a picture of a celebrity – Dirk Dreamer – that happens to be there.
Then he gets busy reading. He has to read three books, so he reads Handiness, Cooking, and Logic. He reads each book long enough to count as one book read and to reach level 2 in the skill.
Then he plays chess until he is really, really hungry.
Since there isn’t anything at home except an empty lot, he picks up some food from the food stand (popcorn shrimp) and he meets Zoe Patel. They talk while he eats which keeps his social in the green. I can’t tell if she is apprehensive or interested at the thought that he might be looking for a legacy spouse.
Then he sleeps on the park bench until morning. He is saving his money because he has two fairly large purchases to make – a telescope and a rocket. He had both of his breakthroughs while reading the first book so he is ready for his first day of work.
When it starts raining, Felix moves back into the library for the rest of the night.
There is so much excitement on this face for his first day of work. Seriously, he moved his eyebrow. I saw it.
Felix greets Eliza Pancakes and heads back to begin checking off his tasks.
His first task is perfect – he has to make a food replacement potion. He is starving so he is happy to test it out, and even happier to report that it worked.
His next task is to invent something and once he completes that he is done for the day.
With time to kill, he starts on the rocket and spends the rest of the day building.
Felix comes home to his empty lot with his first promotion and it is finally time to go shopping.
He gets a studio apartment instead of a house (by Jessicalgn83) plus a do-it-yourself rocket, observatory, and woodworking table.
And at this point, I realize there is no bathroom…

Okay, now there is a bathroom but he ran out of money before he got a shower.
Vlad shows up at midnight and Felix greets him at the door and asks him to leave. He don’t have time for that.
Felix gets to invent the SimRay after gossiping with Eliza for a little while.
Having to choose someone to freeze, Felix chooses someone that he knows he will not be wanting to have a relationship with later on.
Go Away!
Felix sees someone walking by and he is lonely so he runs out to talk to her before he has to go to work.
It is hard to tell if she is interested or apprehensive.
Because he stopped to talk he didn’t get to finish his animal crackers before work. So he took them with him and finished them before going inside. I also realized he doesn’t have a stove yet.
Hmm, Vivian might still be a little irritated at Felix.
But he needs to talk to her and ask her for metal and crystal. She doesn’t seem to be holding any grudges.
Felix is doing good – each day he has time to work on the rocket before he leaves. And he leaves with another promotion today.
He has reached the point on his aspiration where he needs to make something on the woodworking table. He chose the knife block. He scares me with that knife.
Another night spent in the telescope, and it is back to work. Felix starts off his day with some gossip about his coworkers before he starts on whatever he has to do that day.
After finishing his work for the day, Felix plays chess instead of working on the rocket in order to build up his logic skill.
Yeah, he is winning.
He also brings home several parts so he can upgrade his toilet to have a superior flush.
Felix doesn’t have a TV so in order to watch the season premiere of Game of Llamas he has to go to the local bar. He invites Cali to join him and she says “sure”.
Apparently it is also Knight Night at the bar but at least they don’t show up until the show ends.
Just. No.
Felix can’t get out of there fast enough. He didn’t even take Cali with him – he just got the hell out of there.
I haven’t even looked at the calendar but maybe I should because right after TV Season Premiere Day comes Love Day. Well hell. Now Felix needs a date.
He gives Cali a snapdragon because it was the flower he had. She wasn’t impressed when he said it was because she made his dragon snap to attention and that made him sad.
Eventually the sad wore off and they were able to have a proper date with a first kiss. Then I read the rules – no woohoo until after marriage. Well that sucks.
So their date ended with them talking chastely in the kitchen. It was still a gold date, but a fully clothed one. Felix went back to his telescope and Cali went home.
With the weekend ahead and nothing to do, Felix began working on his woodworking and his rocket.
It took all day and all night Saturday but Felix finished the rocket.
He slept for awhile on Sunday and then it was time to take it up for a test flight.
Yeah, that didn’t go so well.
Felix survived but now the rocket is a pile of rubble and will have to be rebuilt. Felix doesn’t have the money to start over so he is back in the telescope and crafting wood things to sell.
Dumbass.
