Astraea is “almost” finished with her mission objectives. She still has to finish upgrading the rocket, which she is doing as they have the money to pay for it.
That means there hasn’t been any money for any more upgrades to the house yet. Jayceon is working his tail off – not his belly, just his tail.
Spaghetti at 3 am for breakfast – these are my people.
Athena’s erratic trait has made her a mean, mean kid. She is always being mean to Astraea. And, Astraea is always putting her in time out for it.
Miranda is working on top-notch toddler, but even with excellent potty skills, sometimes you just miss the potty.
She wanders out to watch Astraea work on the rocket for awhile.
Then she watches some more. For a charmer, not getting attention is awful, especially when you are sad about your potty accident and no one seems to care.
Inside, Athena is taking her meanness out on the teddy bear. Athena has an A in school, and all but one badge, so she is on free will most of the time. It is also almost her birthday, so she is just about to become a teen.
Jayceon has gone to work, so it is up to Astraea to keep Oberon from being snatched by social services. She checks on him and he needs some attention.
They don’t have the money for a computer, so Athena has to actually give gifts to Astraea for the giving back badge. That helps their relationship just a little. Now she only has the Keep Fit badge remaining.
Jayceon earns a promotion. He is now a Canvas Creator, level 5.
He is able to paint one painting before Miranda begs for some food.
Because Jayceon is miserably tired, making him very angry, he begins nagging Miranda. He nagged her three times in a row.
When she is done eating, he lets her out of the high chair, sells his painting, feeds Oberon, and then heads to bed for some sleep. Miranda follows him around watching in order to max out thinking.
Then she is sent to her room to play with her toys where she maxes out imagination, and becomes a top-notch toddler. She is now free to do whatever – as long as it isn’t making messes – until her birthday on a day or two.
Astraea uses the last of the savings to begin what is, hopefully, the last of the rocket upgrades. That leaves just enough for Jayceon to start one small painting. Hopefully it is a good one and he can sell it and continue to spend the day painting. They literally have §5 and it is Sunday – which means bills are coming tomorrow.
That could be why he was not in the mood for Miranda’s jokes. He started nagging on her again, which is when he was sent to paint.
This might be the first masterpiece Jayceon has painted. It is not one of my favorites, which is good, because they need to sell it.
Jayceon heads in to watch TV because he really needs some fun and Astraea is still working on the rocket. Miranda follows because she really wants a bath.
After her bath, she is left alone with “nothing to do” for a little too long. I said “NO messes”. Astraea has taken a break from the rocket because Jayceon is baking a birthday cake for Athena and Oberon needed attention, so she is rerouted into the bathroom to address Miranda.
She decides that Miranda needs to go back to bed for a little while. Works for me.
Jayceon is baking the cake and Athena is kept busy cleaning up dirty dishes. And I realize they still don’t have a sink in the kitchen. Maybe when Astraea is done sucking all of their money into the rocket, they can start getting the house fixed up.
Jayceon goes off to paint before work, and Athena blows out her candles.
She rolls Genius to go with Erratic, and picks up the Joke Star aspiration with the Gregarious trait. She also has the Mentally Gifted and Top-Notch Toddler traits.
It is also Oberon’s birthday, so Astraea helps him with the first few steps.
He puts on his disguise and gets the new toddler hair that was just released. He is wild, and also sad that Jayceon is at work.
Athena heads out for a jog to clear her mind, and begin working off the baby fat.
I forgot that this is New Skill Day, so Oberon is going to be working hard.
Oberon really doesn’t want to be working hard today, But he is going to stay on the potty until he is done.
He even tries crying but that doesn’t stop the potty training.
Three times and he has mastered the potty. Woo – next is the slide.
Miranda has fun dancing.
Until it isn’t fun any more.
Oberon does his time on the slide until he has mastered movement.
And Astraea has completed all of the rocket upgrades. Now, she has completed all of her mission objectives.
It takes some time – he needs sleep and food, something fun to do – but eventually, Jayceon completes two more paintings. They have §1,562 stashed away for the bills, which will probably be more than that. Hopefully, Astraea’s frugal trait will help keep the bills down.
Astraea begins trying to figure out how she can add to the funds, so she digs through the decorations that are packed away pulls some out with plans on selling them. {nope, not a cheat, just an exploit.}
Athena is sent on a cleaning spree throughout the house. Someone has to do it.
Miranda is sleeping while Oberon takes a break for some food, and then he is sent back to work on skills.
He tries to slip away from my control and go to bed, but nope, he needs to potty first. New Skill Day is just about over – it is 1 am.
By the time he finishes going potty, it is 2 am, so Astraea reads him to sleep and he is allowed to call it a day. He finishes the day with Movement and Potty maxed out, Communication at level 3 (96%), Thinking at level 3 (76%), and Imagination sucking at level 1. Not bad for his first day as a toddler.
Miranda wakes up first the next day. She is excited because it is her birthday, although she is going to have to wait until later in the day to have her cake.
The bills come and they aren’t bad. They are just short being able to pay them since Jayceon started a two more paintings, so he needs to finish those paintings.
Another masterpiece – and this is one that I like. But it is sold for the family’s best interest.
Jayceon heads out to pay the bills, and they have some left over. Miranda follows him out to tell him some jokes, and he nags at her some more.
By this time, Oberon is awake and following them around watching.
Miranda is able to get a hug out of Jayceon instead of a nag, while Oberon continues to watch.
One last toddler mess – I am sure she will make some more as a child.
Jayceon has no patience today and yells at her for the mess. She yelled back but I didn’t get a picture of that.
Then it is time to blow out her candles while Oberon continues to watch.
Miranda rolls Mean and Whiz Kid. Oh joy.
