My Not-So-Secret Diary, Day 2-5

Monday

Today I woke up in my own bed, in my own apartment.  I am still basking in the newness of everything with high hopes for the future.  I got up to get ready for work. After I was ready for work, I decided to work on my next book until it was time to leave.

I am not sure if I will be staying in this apartment. It is so tiny and cramped, everything is so challenging. The book I am writing now will be called Two. I just need to finish it.

I called Ramiro and asked him to come over before work for awhile. He did! We had a great time taking pictures together. By the time I had to leave for work, we were good friends. I have a really good feeling about this.

When I got home from work, I was so exhausted that I passed out on the floor. I was waiting on Ramiro and just couldn’t keep my eyes open any longer.

Ramiro was waiting on me when I woke up and we decided that we were going to be best friends. I was so tired and so was he, otherwise we might just have taken the relationship to the next level.

Instead, I went back inside and passed out again, leaving him in the hallway yawning. I did give him a key to the apartment before I went to bed. Just in case…

Tuesday

RATS! This isn’t good. I am going to have to find another place to live because I cannot live with RATS!

Maybe they are MICE instead of RATS, but there are more than one in the apartment. I decided that I would find a new place to live today. Thankfully, I didn’t have to work.

And if the mice weren’t bad enough, the utility box was smoking. I found myself wondering how fast I could get packed up and moved out. Probably not fast enough.

And, OH-EM-GEE, roaches are just the last straw.

I couldn’t stay in the apartment for one second longer. So, I went downstairs and met up with Ramiro.

He was in a good mood, so we shared a kiss!

And, we decided to start dating. Then he left.

When I called to see where he went, apparently he was too busy to talk to me. Maybe he was at work. I was so distracted with his flirty goodness that I forgot to tell him I was moving out of the apartment.

I needed to get out of the apartment, so Ramiro was moved down the to-do list. I will have to deal with him tomorrow. Today it is all about moving. Unfortunately, I don’t have a lot of simoleons so I am not optimistic about just what I am going to be able to find.

I found a cheap little house with more crappy furnishings. But, I could afford it, so I moved to Willow Springs that afternoon.

I took the house as-is because beggars can’t be choosy.

I unpacked everything – meaning the bear, my mom’s journal, and my laptop.

I even set up the spare room as a library/study/office.

I tried to call Ramiro once again, but he was still “busy”. Maybe he will be free tonight as I am assuming he is at work still. I am pretty sure he is still a librarian, but who knows. We haven’t exactly talked about work and careers yet. While I waited on him to get home from wherever, I decided to work on my third book, Three.

And I called him every hour, on the hour, until I finished writing the book.

Then Ramiro surprised me by walking right into the house.

He came and found me in the office and I was so glad to see him.

We went straight to bed. My first woohoo!

Then we did it all over a second time.

And a third time. It was like I couldn’t control myself, I just had to woohoo with him, although it was his suggestion the second and third time.

After spending all evening in bed, I took a picture for posterity. Not that I will have any trouble remembering tonight.

Then, I asked him to marry me. He said yes!!

We didn’t even wait. We changed into nicer clothes and went outside and eloped right then and there.

As midnight chimed, we were exchanging rings and swearing to love each other for the rest of our lives.

Wednesday

After tying the note, we went back inside where I made us some grilled cheese sandwiches. Ramiro was telling me all the gossip from that day at work, which ended up being his last day at work.

He decided he wants to stay home and take care of the house and the kids while I work. Kids!?! Anyways, we ate, he cleaned up, and we went to bed – to sleep.

Ramiro Self

  • Traits: Bookworm, Neat, Romantic
  • Aspiration: Master Mixologist

Well, he isn’t going to complete that aspiration since he can’t get a job. So, he will be changing to something that doesn’t require a job. Maybe he can become a Grilled Cheese Melt Master. I will have to suggest that to him.

We talked about moving to a bigger house, but decided to stay here until we start our family. We replaced a few items and added several traits to the house – Fast Internet, Private Dwelling, and Home Studio. Hopefully those help me with the books I want to write. Oh, and Ramiro finally updated his wardrobe. And his hair… He decided to stop straightening it out into that awkward style and let his natural curls do their thing. He looks much better now.

I was getting ready for work today, and all the sudden I got so sick to my stomach. I vomited up everything I had eaten for breakfast. I ate one of the grilled cheese sandwiches that was leftover from last night, so maybe it got a little nasty, or something.

While I was at work, Ramiro had a productive day, somewhat. He decided to become an Angling Ace, which means he is going to be fishing a lot.

Then he wandered around the neighborhood collecting a bunch of crap, which he sold. Except for two frogs that he wants to try breeding.

I earned a promotion today – I am now an official Blogger (writer level 2). They even gave me a word processor to use at home. Of course, my laptop is just a little better, and it is portable, so I sold the word processor for §1,015. Cha-ching. I came home and went straight to my office to begin writing my next book – Four. Might as well since Ramiro is still out fishing. He said he wanted to catch five fish before he stops for the day.

Well, crap. Apparently when we were having all that fun, one of those woohoos left a nooboo in my belly. This is way too soon, I still have so much to do. Well, maybe just write a bunch of books before this child becomes a young adult. (Thanks autonomous risky woohoo.)

When I realized that I was pregnant, I went out to find Ramiro and let him know. I think he is happy, although he was shocked also. Of course, we should have known better – risky woohoo tends to have lasting consequences.

Thursday

With the new baby coming, we decided to find a new house. Moar space! This house is small and a little cramped, but it works for the two of us. A baby is going to take up so much more room, we have to find another place to live by the time the sprocket gets here. But first thing today, I need to write another book – we have to pay for the new house somehow. Today’s book is called Five.

Ramiro keeps telling me he isn’t catching much and he wants to find another place to fish. He may not be catching a lot of fish, but he did catch a voodoo doll, which he sold for §950. That was a nice boost to our savings.

I sold my fifth book to a publisher today. The other four were self-published, but I should receive higher payments for Five. That is what they told me. And, I gained some fame when I sold the book. I am now a Notable Newcomer. Aren’t I special… lol.

I am so excited! We found another house and it was available immediately, so we are moving in to it tonight! The new house is in Oasis Springs, so we are moving to the desert! The builder is Angelbear122189 and she did a great job with it. I am so excited!

It came with a lot of appliances and furniture and a few pictures on the wall, but we decided to remodel it as much as possible. However much we can afford.

The remodeling is done! This is great and there is so much more room than the last house.

Ramiro went straight through the house and then down to check out the fishing in the river. It would be nice if he likes this place, but there are other places to fish near the house, so he won’t be limited.

I let him go and went into the office. My office. I finished setting up the computer – it is a laptop so it wasn’t hard – and unpacked all the books. Then I began writing my next book – Six. I need to write two more Good Books and I am hoping to get them knocked out pretty quick. Six was only Normal, not Good, so I will continue writing. I started Seven and wrote as fast as I could to try to get it finished before bedtime. I didn’t it finished due to a writer’s block. Maybe tomorrow.

I am going to stop writing for now. The last week has been so full of new things, and now I need to get some sleep.

I have been playing Sims since August 2005; a member, then a moderator, and now an admin of Boolprop.net since October 2006. My sister is the one that hooked me on Sims in the beginning. She had all of the original Sims games and one week while I was on vacation I took her games and started playing. That was the beginning of my obsession. I played Sims 1 for about a month and then decided to buy Sims 2. When Sims 3 was released I made the move and have never looked back. Now I am all in on Sims 4 and still loving it.
