Mia is huge and she is still only in her second trimester. She is also still puking every day. Mia graduates today and the baby will be born tomorrow. She will spend the next week, the last week in July, getting the child through their toddler time. Her goal will be to have the baby/toddler ready to become a child August 1.
Today is New Year’s Eve so that gives her something to work on while she waits for her graduation. She makes a resolution to complete an aspiration milestone in the next seven days. She decorates the house.
She cleans the house so she can start off the new year. Out with the old, in with the new they say. Most people believe in the idea that cleaning your house before the first day of the New Year ensures that you don’t carry in your old, somewhat soiled, life into the New Year. Mia is looking for a fresh start now that she is done with college.
She spends a lot of time loving on Chat. Lots of time. This is literally the only thing she does after the house is clean, maybe because she has already started packing.
It is time for graduation and Mia’s gown does nothing to camouflage her baby bump.
The graduates all gather outside as they wait for the signal to come inside. Finally, they are summoned and the ceremony begins.
Afterwards they throw their hats, which of course I missed.
Then they stand around trying to figure out what comes next.
Mia changes her clothes, but truthfully at this point, nothing is going to make her look smaller.
She heads over to the bar for something to eat and finds another romantic interest. She is successful at cooling things with him.
Then she heads home with the three remaining romantic interests. She is able to ask one to just be friends but the option is still missing for the other two. She sends them all home so she can eat and nap before the countdown to midnight.
Mia receives her diploma and graduation photo, which she hangs on the wall to take a picture.
Then she invites Ren over to watch the countdown.
They celebrate the New Year with a kiss and then Ren goes home.
After Ren leaves, Mia starts looking for a job. She finds a position as Director of Communications, level 8 in the Social Media, Public Relations career field. She receives a signing bonus and completes the Academic aspiration, which also completes her New Year’s resolution.
