Potter Legacy, Chapter 3

Cecil is sparkling so it is time to bake a birthday cake.  I am hoping to do better with the cakes to reduce the amount of sadness that comes from being forgotten on their birthday.

Travis sets the kitchen on fire just as the cake is completed.

Cecil is very upset that the house almost burned down on his birthday.

The family pulls everything together and it is time to blow out the candles.

So instead of crying because he was forgotten, now he is going to cry because of the fire.

And he is going to cry some more.  Pretty much all day, he cried.

Cyrus, on the other hand, was not affected by the fire.  In fact, he felt so good, he went streaking.

Cecil needs to work on his mental skills, so they scrap together the money and purchase a chess table.  Travis plays several games with Cecil.

“Hey, what is that over there, on the wall, behind you?”

“I’ll just move this one and this one…”

“What?  I thought I saw something.”

And because Karma is a bitch, Cecil is now running a high fever.

It doesn’t show up in the picture, but he has steam coming up from his head.

So Cyrus has a nightmare. He cries just enough to wake up Cecil and then gets out of bed and heads into the other room.

I wouldn’t let him wake his parents up, so he is sent to sleep on the couch.

Right after that, Cecil is scared by something under his bed.

Morning finally comes, and Cecil is off for his first day at school.  Cyrus is going to hang out and play games on the tablet.

This is the thinking game.

Cecil and Travis play chess each evening after work and school.  Cyrus has taken to sitting beside them and talking as they play.

Travis gives him a chair so he can see the board.  Cyrus is telling Cecil how to play, apparently.

The monster is back.

Cecil tries to communicate with it, but no luck.  They have got to buy the nightlights.

Travis also puts a chair next to his desk so Cyrus can come and sit quietly.

It is a popular chair.  Travis gets a lot of company.

Gwen has a headache – she just got Cyrus to bed and is exhausted.

Gwen tells Cyrus a story and brightens his day.

Cyrus wakes up needing to potty very bad, and believes it is necessary to wake Cecil up also.  “Ceci, you tink! Smell bad! Gotta peepee.”

The boys spend time getting to know each other.

Cecil even brings Cyrus some food.

And then hangs around to tell him stories.

Travis has his birthday.  He takes the day off from work and makes a hamburger cake.

A few hours later, Cyrus is sparkling and he gets a chocolate cake.

With both boys children, Travis decides to splurge and take the family on a vacation.  They only have one night so he rents the biggest house.

They enjoy roasting marshmallows, even though Travis burned his arm starting the fire.

The boys play cards on the balcony.

Gwen makes breakfast, because even on vacation, everyone wants to eat.

And then in true sims fashion, they all gather in the spare room to sit on the beds and eat.

They play a game of horseshoes “after” breakfast.

They go fishing.

They go exploring and meet a hermit.

Travis and Gwen are enjoying their first family vacation.  It was nice to get away, even if only for one night.

And their last breakfast before heading home.

I have been playing Sims since August 2005; a member, then a moderator, and now an admin of Boolprop.net since October 2006. My sister is the one that hooked me on Sims in the beginning. She had all of the original Sims games and one week while I was on vacation I took her games and started playing. That was the beginning of my obsession. I played Sims 1 for about a month and then decided to buy Sims 2. When Sims 3 was released I made the move and have never looked back. Now I am all in on Sims 4 and still loving it.
