Potter Legacy, Chapter 5

Parenthood has released!

So, did you hear?  A new game pack has been released and added to our world.

Having heard the news, Gwen spends some time researching parenting on the computer.

She also purchases several books, but never finishes reading the first one.

Speaking of reading, Cecil has to read three books for his aspiration.  In order to minimize distractions, he is sent to his favorite bench in the garden behind the house.

Travis has been pouting because he hasn’t been able to play his game.  He is so tense. [eyes rolling]

Gwen is feeling flirty, but just as they decide to get sexy, it is time for her to go to work.  Rev him up and watch him spin.

Cyrus decides to test out the mess making.

Travis stops him, scolds him, and asks him to clean up the mess.

Cecil is not feeling well, but he is not allowed to come home until the books are read.

Meanwhile, Cyrus is trying to make friends with Jocelyn to complete his aspiration.

After she leaves, Travis comes out to check on Cyrus.  Uh oh – Jocelyn made the mess but Cyrus is worried he is going to get the blame.

Sack lunches look great, but they don’t eat them at work or school.  Not sure what the purpose, other than to pre-separate the individual servings, which toddlers can’t do on their own.

Everything in this house is broken.  Again.

Both boys come home with projects on Monday.  Cyrus asks Jocelyn to work with him.

They build a chemical reaction volcano.

Cecil works with Travis on his project.

He builds some electrical contraption for electrical experiments.

The house is too small.  It is time for a new house.

All my love and thanks to the Gallery.

Happy Birthday Gwen!

Synchronized illness.  Gwen has been instructing Cyrus in manners and conflict resolution – please, thank you, and sorry.

Cyrus started to make a mess, but was caught by Travis before he could really get going.  He is, once again, cleaning it up.

Someone smells.  And Cyrus will give you one guess.

Clingy phase has struck.  During the clingy phase, Cyrus only wants to interact with his parents.  Unfortunately, he will have his birthday tomorrow and must have her friendship.  This leads to a major meltdown.  Jocelyn is not impressed.

Just checking on Alexander Goth.  He and Rieko had two children – Adonis (teen) and Conrad (toddler).

In order to get Cyrus to socialize with Jocelyn, Travis stands out there with him.  Not sure if that always works, but Cyrus was able to complete his aspiration.

After that, they started telling each other stories.

But he is still in the clingy phase, and remained glued to Gwen’s side for the rest of the day.

Gwen is still trying to teach him manners and when to say sorry.  Cyrus is starving and just wants to eat.  She would say this long sentence and he would respond “sangria”.  Sangria actually sounds pretty good.

So, Cecil brings home a friend.  Well, I thought they were friends.  Why else would he bring him home?  But no, everything Cecil said made Kurtis mad.  Cecil apologized and Kurtis got angry.  Turns out Kurtis is evil.

Cecil lost a lot of conflict resolution points.  Cyrus enjoyed watching though.

But he won the fight.  Gwen is giving him the stink eye so he might not have won much.

Travis and Cecil.  Cecil is exactly like his dad.

Well, that fight that Cecil won?  He lost the fight with his mother.

She doesn’t have the skill for grounding yet, so she put him in a timeout.  This is where he knelt until the timeout was lifted.  While he was in timeout, he could not be selected as a target for any interaction.  I did not attempt to have him break punishment.

And, it is time for another teen.

Not too bad, Cyrus.  But you are not going to be heir.

“Dude, high school homework sucks.”  “Yep, welcome to the big leagues, kid.”

Cecil begs for some medicine for his illness.

Gwen encouraged him to work out.  So, he flexed his arm and took a selfie.

Cyrus is going into music.  He really needs to practice a lot.  Most of the time, my musicians get the creative aspiration as kids.  Cyrus took social instead.  I forget how horrible they sound when they start.

Back to the grindstone, Cecil.  Chess, dude, chess.

Cecil is childish.  This is Cecil after he started playing with the action figure and poked himself in the eye.  Cecil said a bad word.

On Sunday, before the switch to the next household, both boys participated in a walk for charity.  Since Gwen and Travis had the house to themselves, they did what any married couple does.  They had a grossing out contest.  Gwen belched.

Travis farted.  I think Travis won, since Gwen left the table.  Then they had woohoo.

During the charity run, Cecil’s competitive streak came out and he started racing another walker.  Needless to say, he lost more conflict resolution points.

“That was fun”

I have been playing Sims since August 2005; a member, then a moderator, and now an admin of Boolprop.net since October 2006. My sister is the one that hooked me on Sims in the beginning. She had all of the original Sims games and one week while I was on vacation I took her games and started playing. That was the beginning of my obsession. I played Sims 1 for about a month and then decided to buy Sims 2. When Sims 3 was released I made the move and have never looked back. Now I am all in on Sims 4 and still loving it.
