SimTeresa Through the Years

SimTeresa has existed in one form or another for almost as long as I’ve been playing The Sims — evolving with each generation of the game, picking up new quirks, new hairstyles, and occasionally new life goals. This page gathers all my SimSelves in one place, from the polished Sims 4 version all the way back to the chaos of Sims 2.

The Sims 4: The Modern Me

Today’s SimTeresa is the most refined version yet — a blend of my real personality and the traits that make Sims storytelling fun. She’s creative, family‑focused, a little wry, and always juggling more responsibilities than one Sim should reasonably handle.

She reads constantly, loves blue, cooks when she feels like it, and will absolutely adopt every stray animal she sees. This is the SimSelf who appears in my legacies, challenges, and blog stories, popping in as a narrator, a cameo, or the occasional chaos gremlin.

The Sims 3: Open World, Open Chaos

SimTeresa thrived in the open world of The Sims 3. She jogged everywhere, adopted too many pets, and occasionally got stuck in routing nightmares like everyone else.

Her traits usually leaned toward Bookworm, Family‑Oriented, Good, and maybe a dash of Neurotic for realism. She loved gardening, collecting, and exploring every corner of town… usually while forgetting to pay the bills.

This version felt adventurous, busy, and always one step away from a minor disaster.

The Sims 2: The Aspiration Era

With aspirations, fears, and wants, SimTeresa suddenly had goals — and consequences.

She bounced between Knowledge and Family aspirations depending on the save, usually ending up with a house full of books, kids, and cats. She also developed a deep and lasting hatred of the Repo Man.

This was the era where she first started to feel like a character rather than just a Sim — someone with motivations, routines, and a personality that carried from save to save.

Why I Keep Making SimTeresa

Each version marks a different chapter of my life as a simmer — from discovering storytelling to building legacies to sharing my worlds with the community.

SimTeresa is my anchor, my Easter egg, and sometimes my comic relief. She’s grown with me, changed with the games, and continues to show up whenever I need a familiar face in a new save.
