100 Days: Day 1. Zombie Graveyard

I haven’t played Sims in awhile. Sometimes I just need a break and those breaks are never really planned, they just pick their moment and happen. I am still not ready to play, but I have been feeling the pull back into the game. But, what to do? Then I remembered the 100 Day Creativity Challenge by IllusoryThrall. This is a way to get back into the game without the commitment to a challenge or story.

The basics of the challenge are to create a household and a build based upon the day’s theme or prompt. I have always loved these types of challenges – they are like scavenger hunts in a way. Once each household and build is completed, it will be uploaded to the gallery with the hashtag of #100DayCreativity and also #boolpropnet, because that is what I do.

I will be moving down the list in day order, until I decide to skip around. So, that means, today we start with Day 1. Also, these will be really short updates.

Zombie/Graveyard

  • Sim(s) Creation: Type of Zombie is completely up to you, as well as whether you want a single sim or a zombie horde.
  • For the Build: a suitably run-down home or church-type building with a ruined graveyard on the side.
  • For a Room: a graveyard room for outside of any home/venue.

For this I will be using iZombie as my inspiration for her physical appearance. I loved the TV series and it is probably the only type of zombie that I like.

Meet Olivia Moore. Olivia is Gloomy, Erratic, and a Bro. She wants to become a Bestselling Author.

Olivia shows off her outfits and then she begins working on her house build.

Olivia moves into an empty lot in the middle of the Evergreen Harbor, Bridgeview I believe.

Then she builds herself a crappy little house out of two shipping containers and an empty warehouse.

There is a small graveyard in front, which should keep most of the sims from noticing the house beside it.

The inside of the bottom container. The top container only contains a bed.

The warehouse has the kitchen and the living area.

Olivia hangs out in her living room and debates on which job she should take.

She decides that she will join the medical branch with the hope that one day she can become a medical examiner.

Then it is time to have a chat with some friends. “Friends”. Dead rose bushes.

I have been playing Sims since August 2005; a member, then a moderator, and now an admin of Boolprop.net since October 2006. My sister is the one that hooked me on Sims in the beginning. She had all of the original Sims games and one week while I was on vacation I took her games and started playing. That was the beginning of my obsession. I played Sims 1 for about a month and then decided to buy Sims 2. When Sims 3 was released I made the move and have never looked back. Now I am all in on Sims 4 and still loving it.
