Ocean ABC Legacy, Chapter 14

Another birthday forgotten.  This generation is doing well despite the fact that I keep forgetting their birthdays.

Coral becomes a Perfectionist child and has earned both Top-Notch Infant and Top-Notch Toddler.

Cay is awake.  She is the only one awake except for Henri’s ghost.

So Coral was bugged and never could crawl even though she reached the milestone several times.  Cay, however, reaches the milestone and begins crawling everywhere.

She is heading to the living room.

Still crawling.

Perfect timing on the picture.  Coral joined the scouts and is doing her homework in preparation of her first day at school.

She rolled the Rambunctious Scamp aspiration, but she prefers doing creative things.

Bali has something wrong.  Oh wait.  I was me.  I just realized she should have been offered the Astronaut job at the right level, and now I realize it was me.  She should have looked for the specific position not the general career field.  So, she never completes her aspiration – I was really thinking it was her, but it was me.

Masabumi has taken several days off to deal with burnout, but it is about time for him to return to work.

Oh, makeovers are needed for Coral and Cay.

Cay loves to wiggle to music and now she can.

Cay was hungry and did not need a bath, so Cay got a bath.  Then I realized it was me, again.  She asked for Bubbles thinking Bali would blow bubbles with her.  Asking for bubbles results in a bubble bath.

Coral gives Cay a kiss and blows some raspberries.

This is Coral’s room.  That is Coral’s bed.  But let’s take a nap on the couch instead.

Cay finally gets a nap.  Apparently, the living room was too noisy, but she naps well in the nursery.

The first day of school was a long day.

Bali received the promotion she was waiting for, and still did not complete her aspiration.  This is about where I started realizing there was a problem with her aspiration.

Entertaining the adults.  Everyone needed to do something fun.

Random strangers just wander through the house.

It is time for diet ice cream.

More ice cream.  It took an entire bucket of ice cream, split between them to achieve any noticeable weight loss.

Cay has done well with her milestones.

Ariel went fishing to try to complete an aspiration level for her New Year’s resolution.  The stranger likes what he is seeing.  Ariel moved to another spot right after this.

Because I hadn’t realized I was the problem, I cheated the Academic aspiration to complete, so now Bali is working on Nerd Brain.

Makeovers are complete and Coral is looking cute.

It is getting close to time for Cay to become a toddler.  Masabumi spends time with her just enjoying being a dad.

She could fit into one of those rooms.

Effort is being made.

And another birthday was missed.  Cay is a Silly toddler with the Top-Notch Infant trait.

A quick makeover for Cay and it is time for bed in her new toddler bed.

Despite appearances in the last picture, Cay is a happy toddler and is almost always smiling.

Coral has mastered creativity.  She is supposed to be working on her motor skills though.

Cay has some food and then is left in the highchair.  And she is still happy.

Renovations are finished on the house, except for the room Cay will be using as a child and teen.  This is the children’s computer desk.

At the top of the stairs are the doors to the bedrooms.  Ariel’s room is in the first door on the left, Cay’s room will be the middle door, and Coral’s room is the door on the right.

The science table is still in the landing.  I haven’t decided if it will move but this is a good place.  They also received both the vacuum and the dock for Winterfest.  Glad that has been fixed.  We won’t discuss how many docks my sims have received over the years without the vacuum included.

Ariel’s room…

Coral’s sitting area.  She gets the space desk that Bali brought home from work.

Coral’s sleeping area.

Another shot of Cay looking adorable.

She is getting exhausted, but Masabumi wants to read her one more story.

Coral is finally working on her motor skill and her childhood aspiration.

Ariel has finally mastered mixology.  That makes all four of the food skills mastered by one sim, and adds a point to the legacy.

Cay is sent to the potty where she stays until she has it mastered.

Toddlers can look at any book in the bookcase.  Even the ones that they shouldn’t.

Ariel wants to complete her next aspiration, one of the family ones, and she needs to mentor a child three times.  Bali begins painting and Ariel is right on top of that.  Aspiration completed, and that makes five for her.

Coral heads out to the pond to try to catch frogs to complete her outdoor badge.

Back home she is tasked with taking out the trash.

Cay is off to the painting studio so she can watch Masabumi while he paints.

Watching and watching.  She has reached level 3 in all toddler skills.  Now she is going to see if she can get to level 5 before her birthday.

No one is on the same schedule.  I suck at that.  Just as I think the entire house is going to bed, someone gets up to eat.

Coral is heading out to the monkey bars to work on her last badge.

Cay wants to sleep but she must read three toddler books first.

Ariel begins to learn knitting.  Maybe this will keep her busy and out of trouble for a while.

Llamacorn Scout achieved.  As soon as Coral becomes a teen, she will be quitting the scouts.

Masabumi is experiencing burnout and he is trying to get past it.  He has taken some time off from work and is practicing yoga to see if that helps.

This is a clue that there is something awkward about how the living room is set up.  No one will voluntarily sit to watch television.

I did not realize the toddlers could be changed on the changing table.  Apparently, it is a surprise for Cay also.

Bali has reached the top of her career.  Checking off Space Ranger.

Okay Cay.  She is not angry or sad.  But the radio is playing in her room, and she can’t stay asleep.

The radio is switched to lullabies and then just turned off.

I have been playing Sims since August 2005; a member, then a moderator, and now an admin of Boolprop.net since October 2006. My sister is the one that hooked me on Sims in the beginning. She had all of the original Sims games and one week while I was on vacation I took her games and started playing. That was the beginning of my obsession. I played Sims 1 for about a month and then decided to buy Sims 2. When Sims 3 was released I made the move and have never looked back. Now I am all in on Sims 4 and still loving it.
